The 2010 Owen
County Fair theme was Follow the Yellow Brick
Road, and the Garden Club’s annual specialty
contest encompassed that. Arrangements of yellow flowers were entered on Tuesday morning (July 20).

Also in keeping
with the theme, the Garden Club's display in the Open
Class Building was Follow the
Yellow Brick Road to Container Gardening.
The exhibit included container gardens of herbs, shade
plants, vegetables, and annuals.
