| The Garden Club is an important
link to the beautification of Owen County, Indiana. Among our members are
many Master Gardeners who are willing to lend a hand and share their knowledge.
Volunteers from the Club plant and maintain
the flower beds at the east Triangle
and Cooper Commons
as well as flower pots placed throughout the town of Spencer. We also conduct
plant sales at the Community Farmers' Market of Owen County,
have an
educational display at the County Fair,
promote environmental awareness, and work with plantings to enhance the
appearance of Main Street and downtown Spencer.
